Terms & Conditions: FAQ

YOUR INSTALL/SERVICE

-Your natural hair must be at least 3 inches for your install.
-If you have any hair loss, please inform kayladoescrochet prior to your appointment so adjustments can be made.
-Please note hair is NOT provided and you will need to bring the hair to your appointment.
-Please ensure the hair you bring is suitable for crochet braids i.e locs, twists and braids need to be pre-looped and curly/straight hair needs to be good quality to achieve the desired look.
-For curly/straight crochet installs please bring at least 6-8 packs to be safe as some hair brands are thin/tangle . If you do not bring enough packs for your head then this can result in your appointment being cancelled/or your install being incomplete.
-For locs, twists and braids crochet installs please bring at least 6-8 packs/120 strands. If you do not bring enough packs for your head then this can result in your appointment being cancelled/or your install being incomplete.
-Feel free to email or text Kayladoescrochet about any questions regarding your crochet install.

YOUR APPOINTMENT

-Please inform if you are running late to your appointment. If you are more than 30 minutes late then you risk your appointment being cancelled and unfortunately your deposit will not be refunded.

-Please do not arrive no more than 5 minutes early to your appointment; this allows time between clients and to set up for your appointment.

-Please avoid bringing guests to your appointments. If you have an unavoidable guest you must bring, then please let Kayladoescrochet aware prior to your appointment.

-There is Wi-Fi available if you need to use it.

-Cash and card payments are available to pay for your service

MOBILE/TRAVEL SERVICES

-For mobile home service appointments you MUST contact kayladoescrochet prior to booking this service for confirmation of your travel fee and to ensure that there is availability for this service. 

-You will be charged a minimum £10 for this service and for postcodes outside of Luton/Dunstable you will be charged £0.75 a mile.

-If your address is in the congestion zone, there are unavoidable tolls to get your address or there is payable parking at your address, then these costs will be added to your travel fee. 
-Please ensure you have an appropriate chair in your home. Services cannot be provided on the floor, beds or sofas ect.

-You will be sent a payment link 24 hours prior to your mobile home service appointment where a fee has been calculated for you using the postcode you have provided and any additional costs incurred (congestion fees, tolls, parking e.c.t)  You MUST pay this fee no later than 3 hours before you appointment time. 
 -If you cancel/miss your appointment  and the journey to your home location has already been made then unfortunately your travel fee payment cannot be refunded. 

OUT OF HOURS APPOINTMENTS

-Out-of-Hours (outside of opening hours) appointments are available if it is possible to do so.
-To request this please do so by clicking on the 'Book online' tab, then click on 'extras' and then 'out-of-hours request'.
-If your request is accepted you will incur an additional £20 fee.

HEALTH & SAFETY  

-If you experience Covid or any other viral symptoms prior to your appointment please contact kayladoescrochet and reschedule your appointment.

-All tools are sanitised using barbicide infection control practices, in-between appointments.

-Please let the hairdresser known if you need to take any breaks during your appointment.
